Brand new footage has emerged, appearing to show tech CEO Andy Byron and colleague HR Chief Kristin Cabot at Wednesday’s Coldplay concert.

Both Byron and Cabot have become prominent figures on social media, after fan-footage from the Coldplay performance appeared to show them embracing one another during the band’s Kiss Cam segment of the show.

The now-viral video – which has amassed more than 50,000,000 views on social media – shows the moments concert cams cut to the pair, causing the man to duck down and hide behind a barrier and the woman cover her face and turn away.

Responding in real-time, frontman Martin said to the crowd: “Oh, look at these two … All right, c’mon, you’re okay. … Oh, what? Either they’re having an affair or they’re very shy.”

Internet sleuths and news publications have since identified the pair as Byron and Cabot, both employees of tech company Astronomer.

Now, TMZ has shared a brand new angle of Wednesday’s show, which allegedly shows the co-workers “locking lips before they got busted”, the outlet writes.

(Before we move on, it should be noted that the two people highlighted in the footage or TMZ’s article have not been confirmed to be Byron or Cabot.)

The footage can be seen below:

This new video, which is also making rounds on social media, shows a man and woman – filmed from behind – appearing to share a kiss as Coldplay delights the crowd with their hit ‘Yellow’. TMZ reports that the people in question are Byron or Cabot.

Meanwhile, the fallout from the viral footage has been swift and significant.

Astronomer have since issued two statements confirming that Byron has been removed as CEO and that an investigation into the footage is underway.

“Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability,” the company said in a statement shared to LinkedIn. “The Board of Directors has initiated a formal investigation into this matter and we will have additional details to share very shortly.”

Additionally, the company confirmed that no other Astronomer employees “were in the video”, after it was alleged online that co-worker Alyssa Stoddard was also in the footage.

“Alyssa Stoddard was not at the event,” the company has confirmed.

Additionally, as a false statement circulates on social media platforms – one that originally shared by a parody news account on X – Astronomer has reiterated that “Andy Byron has not put out any statement, reports saying otherwise are all incorrect.”

In a second update, the company writes: “Cofounder and Chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy is currently serving as interim CEO given Andy Byron has been placed on leave.

“We will share more details as appropriate in the coming days.”

As the footage and surrounding story continue to intrigue social media users, more and more people are searching for answers. However, it is important to be aware of what is real and what is not – and be aware of false statements.
