A man who went missing mysteriously reappeared years later, still wearing the same clothing.

Being a seasoned livestock trader, he was known to embark on journeys for a handful of days to sell his cattle.

Yet on one of these trips, Gorgos didn’t return home for 30 years, leading to a mystery that would baffle his family, friends, and even the authorities.

Initially, Gorgos’ family assumed an unexpected delay had occurred, but as the hours turned into days and the days into weeks, concern turned to dread.

After his family contacted the police, an investigation was launched into his whereabouts.

“He talks to us about the period when he was involved in raising and selling cows. We ask him one thing, and he tells us another.

“Who knows where he has been, who kept him, maybe he was forced to work… who knows what kind of life he led?”

Even more bizarrely, Gorgos reportedly wore the same clothing he’d worn on the day of his disappearance, and in his pocket were the same items he’d had all those years ago, including the train ticket he’d been carrying.

Medical examinations determined that Gorgos was in good health for a man of his age and he had no mental health issues, aside from normal neurological decline associated with aging.

The mystery only deepened when it was discovered that the car that brought the elderly man back had vanished, along with the driver, who nobody recognized.

Understandably, speculation ran wild, leading to many conspiracy theories.

One of the most prominent theories is the belief that Gorgos was arrested, which would explain why he was wearing the same clothes he disappeared in.

Some psychiatrists have also considered the possibility of him having two different personalities, with such theorists suggesting it led Gorgos to live another life for three decades. Yet it’s unlikely the disorder could last for decades.

Others have speculated that the man was kidnapped and forced to work as a laborer. They claim he may have been returned to his family as his age made it impractical for him to continue this.
